William W. Smith papers, 1853-1891
The W. W. Smith Collection is a small archive of materials relating to ranching activity in Texas in the 19th century such as legal documents, correspondence, and cattle brand sheets.
Woody Guthrie manuscripts, approximately 1946-1947
Consists of the typescript of House of Earth; a carbon copy typescripts and photostats of partial drafts of the chapter entitled "Termites;" pencil sketches of the exterior and interior of the house; a three ringed binder that held the manuscripts; and a carbon copy typescript of the short story, "Study Butte."
